A combined chopping and granulation system for directly grinding large volumes of plastic objects.
This machine permits granules ranging from 4 to 8-10 mm, that can be re-used directly in the production cycle. The combination of the two machines guarantees a significant reduction in investment and running costs. It also offers a lower system noise level.

Use notes:
A highly multi purpose machine of average size, suitable for granulating numerous reject and other materials. It can be inserted in-line for continuous operation.
Recommended for finely grinding wood, plastic, rubber, paper, cardboard, packaging, polythene strips, plastic film. PET bottles, waxed sheets, shells, bumpers, animal hoofs, etc.

Main characteristics of the GR 300 grinder:

• block made of steel profiles and pipes;
• axial regulation of the fixed blade group;
• soundproof housing chamber with a hatch and safety device for extraction from the grinder on tracks;
• interchangeable grill for granule sizes down to 4 mm;
• transmission by high resistance trapezoid belts on a flywheel;
• 5.5 kW motor positioned on slides for optimum belt regulation;
• EU standard electrical board, fitted with a torque limiting device that inverts cutter drive if the machine workload exceeds the set value.

The production of chopped material varies in relation to the type of pieces to be chopped and the desired granule size. Roughly, production of 200-300 Kg/hour is realistic. Constructed to EU standards.
